Another three weeks gone by, I missed my last 2 blogs as they have been fairly standard weeks, basically just buckling down getting more and more French under my belt. I continued with yoga and football last week although I still haven’t been able to play a match of football despite being here for almost 3 months now… My french is coming along well if a bit frustrating at times. This week was much of the same, we had a class trip out to a forrest and a pond in the middle of nowhere but unfortunately that only yielded a few insects in the way of wildlife and we didn’t get so see any frogs, foxes or snakes… Spring is certainly on its way here and almost every day the temperature is up around 20 and storms seem to be more and more rare. That being said, last week we had a flash storm with heaps of lighting strikes and a tree was hit by lightning and caught on fire! It was all very exciting. Last weekend we went on a little adventure to Port-Lesney where we ate baguette and ham by the riverside after exploring the local markets. We were then going to head off on a bit of a tramp but it ended up being more of a leisurely stroll. Everyone at school has been busy with exams this past week so I’ve just been chilling enjoying the fact I don’t have to worry about doing exams. Ive been baking some more cakes for the family and been doing lots of small walks exploring the beautiful french countryside!
